How Project Glasswing Access Works

The most important thing to understand about Glasswing access is what it is not: there is no pricing page, free trial, or waitlist that turns into access. Glasswing is invitation- and selection-based, and Anthropic decides who participates.

Who it targets

Public information points to a tight focus on cyberdefense and critical-infrastructure organizations, with US-government involvement. Roughly 50 organizations were selected for the Mythos Preview. Anthropic has not published a participant list, so any specific named companies you see elsewhere should be treated as unconfirmed.

What access grants

Glasswing is the channel for the unrestricted Mythos editions — the April 2026 Preview and Mythos 5, where the safety classifiers are lifted. That's a deliberate trade: a narrow, vetted group gets the unfiltered model, while the broader public gets the safeguarded Fable 5. See Fable 5 vs Mythos 5 for the distinction.

Current status

Even for selected participants, the June 12, 2026 export-control directive suspended Mythos 5 (and Fable 5) access, and that suspension is currently active. For the program's full shape, read Project Glasswing explained.
