Two gates, not one
Even setting the suspension aside, Mythos 5 was never available to the general public. It is the edition of the June 2026 model with safety classifiers lifted, and Anthropic distributes it exclusively through Project Glasswing to a small set of vetted organisations. So "available" here has always meant "available to approved Glasswing participants" — and on top of that, the live verdict above reflects whether the current export-control suspension is in force.
