Mythos-class models have never been open self-serve. Glasswing is the vetting program that decides who gets in. For the Preview, that meant about 50 organisations, weighted toward cyberdefense and critical-infrastructure use, with US-government involvement. Mythos 5 — the unrestricted June edition — is Glasswing-only as well.

Glasswing pricing for the Preview was reported at roughly $25 input / $125 output per million tokens — well above the public Fable 5 rate of $10/$50, reflecting the program's bespoke nature. Treat the exact figures as approximate.

How it relates to Fable 5

Fable 5 was Anthropic's attempt to bring Mythos-class capability to the public safely, using classifiers instead of a vetting gate. Glasswing remains the path for the unrestricted Mythos 5. See project glasswing access and glasswing organizations.
